John Beahrs, MD, is a psychiatrist retired from the Portland Veteran's Administration Medical Center, and Professor Emeritus, Oregon Health and Science University. A three-time recipient of a Milton H. Erickson Award, Dr. Beahrs developed strategic self-therapy for treating personality disorders and a "shared self-deception hypothesis" of how human minds evolved. He is the author of three books, with two books in progress: Psychotherapy and The Reality Question.
Stephen Gilligan Ph.D., is a Psychologist in Encinitas, CA. He was one of the original NLP students at UC Santa Cruz; Milton Erickson and Gregory Bateson were his mentors. After receiving his psychology doctorate from Stanford University, he became one of the premier teachers and practitioners of Ericksonian hypnotherapy. This work unfolded into his original approaches of Self-Relations and Generative Self, and then further (in collaboration with Robert Dilts) into Generative Coaching. These different traditions have all been updated and integrated into the present Generative Change Work, which includes the applications of Generative Coaching, Generative Psychotherapy, Generative Trance, Hero’s Journey, and Systemic Change work.
CAMILLO LORIEDO, MD PhD, is professor of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Rome, School of Medicine and the School of Specialization. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Milton Erickson Foundation. He has recently been elected President of the Italian Society of Psychotherapy. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. Loriedo has been awarded the Milton H. Erickson Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to the field of Psychotherapy. He has authored over 350 scientific papers and 26 books.
Teresa Robles, PhD, has a Master Degree in Social Anthropology, a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology and a training in Systemic Family Therapy. She has introduced Ericksonian Hypnosis in Mexico, and has adapted it to Spanish and Portuguese. She is co founder of the first Milton H. Erickson Institute in Mexico City and the founder of the Mexican Ericksonnian Centre that is considered by the Mexican Council of Science and Technology at a level of a University. The Centre has created the first Master Degree Program in the world of Ericksonnian Psychoterapy.
