• Recognize the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) as a diagnostic and treatment modality, define the nomenclature and terminology of the FDM, and identify six principal types of Fascial Distortions.

He attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kansas City, Missouri, followed by residency at Doctor’s Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio. For most of the past 13 years, Dr. Perkins’ clinical work has involved Osteopathic Manipulation utilizing the Fascial Distortion Method, and he is a founding member of the Fascia Research Society, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the American Fascial Distortion Model Association. Board certified in Osteopathic Family Medicine, his current practice focuses on Primary Care, Mental Health & Wellness, Musculoskeletal Injuries and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
