Life is a continuous cycle — beginning at birth, ending upon death and reviewed between lives in the spiritual realm. It starts anew with each incarnation, propelled by the soul’s innate desire and inclination to progress in wisdom from one lifetime to the next.

Your incarnate soul is a fragment, a sliver, of the totality of your divine energy or higher self. The aspect of soul that is “you” comes from — and remains connected to — the celestial realm during your life on Earth. Upon your physical death, the holographic portion of your soul that arrived before birth takes its leave and returns to the spiritual realm. Incarnations come and go, while soul consciousness is eternal.

Your soul travels a gradual journey from one life to the next to evolve as an individual and a collective. Through our lives we may climb “challenging hills” to reach our goals, at times falling short and other times achieving. Some lives are more like a Sunday afternoon drive with gentle intentions and a pleasant result. The point is: Incarnation is a requirement of the higher realm to “grow” as a soul, affecting soul advancement and the wisdom of ALL.

When you “mend” your soul through reincarnation, the “seam” of your ongoing soul evolution will be tightly sewn through the knowledge and release of who you’ve been, along with your actions. Through ongoing balance and healing and the details of prior lives, you evolve as a soul.

At the moment of our birth, we embody on earth with purpose. Our life intentions may be subtle and more human relationship-based, as in the case of Susan, OR our key objective could be more left-brained and linear, such as discovering the cure for a serious illness. Each of us as a soul has a “team” of spiritual guides. One of the members of this team is your primary soul guide. Many refer to their sense of direction as a guardian angel, animal, loved one, or simply a power or force. Your higher self, or soul energy that remains in the divine realm when you are incarnate, can and often does, serve as guidance. Widows and widowers have reported through Gallup Poll research that they feel the essence of and reinforcement from, their deceased spouse.

We’re never alone and are always supported. The key is learning to utilize and trust your intuition to receive input from the higher realm. Guides provide options, yet never force a decision. It is also true that guides may frequently lead you to provoke a life circumstance they believe you need in order to make a tough decision and further the advancement of your soul’s evolution.
